The Gateway Arch Riverfront area attracts more than four million guests annually. At 630 feet, the Arch is the nation's tallest man made monument. If you’re not claustrophobic, you’ll enjoy the tram ride to the top, where the view is amazing. A Lewis & Clark exhibit is located in the museum at the base of the arch, where you can also watch a film that illustrates the rigors of building the great monument. The Historic Aircraft Restoration Museum houses one of the largest collections of flying antique, classic and sport aircraft in the country. Included in the collection are an original "Cub," the "Timm Collegiate" flown by Charles Lindbergh and the first "Curtiss Air Sedan," which was made in St. Louis. Open cockpit biplane rides are available.

Within Forest Park are the Art Museum, Science Center, Zoo, Jewel Box greenhouse, History Museum and The Muny theatre, as well as a biking and jogging path, ice skating rink and lakes.
